Container

• What is a Mini?
  It is a mobile all steel constructed weatherproof storage unit on wheels delivered to you. Saving valuable time traveling back and forth to the storage unit and possibly, the additional expense of renting a truck.
• How can I tell what size Mini to order?
  It depends on how much stuff you have in the space you occupy. Generally, though, the following guidelines can be followed:
  
  12' Mini - One bedroom apartment or condo.
  16' Mini - Two bedroom apartment, condo or small home.
  18' Mini - Large apartment, condo or medium home.
  20' Mini - Three bedroom home or larger.

Availability

• How far in advance do I need to reserve a Mini?
  Ideally, the further out you can reserve a Go Mini, the better. However, we are locally owned and operated giving us maximum flexibility to respond on shorter notice.
• If I fill up my Mini and need more space, can I get another one quickly?
  Yes. Please call us as soon as you recognize the need and we'll schedule a delivery right away.
• If I live in a rural area away from the immediate Go Mini's service area, can I still get a Mini?
  In most cases, a Mini can be delivered to your door. An extra mileage fee will be charged for distance beyond 20 miles from the Go Mini's location nearest you.
• Do I have to be home when you deliver the Mini?
  No. It is not a requirement. We will place the container in a predetermined location near your home or office. Prior to delivery, we must have a signed rental agreement, however, we can fax all required paperwork to you for signature prior to your scheduled delivery date.

Storage

• Are my valuables secure from weather if the Mini is stored outside?
  Yes. The Mini is weatherproof and designed for exterior use in extreme climates, both hot and cold.
• How can I find out if keeping a Mini at my home or office is allowed?
  Some homeowners associations and local ordinances limit the amount of time a Mini can be kept at your site. To be sure, contact your homeowners association and/or local code enforcement agency. Even in cases where limitations exist, allowances are generally made for you to accomplish your move with a Mini just like with any other mode for moving.
• Is off-site storage available?
  Yes. If you cannot or do not wish to keep the Mini containers on your own site, we can store safely and securely at the Go Mini's warehouse. Our secure site offers indoor warehouse storage.
• Will my belongings shift during loading/unloading and transport of the Mini?
  Items may shift during loading or transport if they are not properly secured. There are rails at two levels across the walls and back of the Mini which can be used to secure your items at several points during loading.
• If I need to get something out of the Mini while it's in central storage, can I get to it?
  Yes. We normally ask for 24 hours notice, but notice may not be required if someone is at the central storage site when you call.
